2018 Commonwealth Games Pedestrian Link Nerang Station to Carrara

Gold Coast City Council commissioned Bitzios Consulting together with PLACE Design and Newell Consulting to provide consultancy services in the concept design of a pedestrian linkage between Carrara Sports Precinct and Nerang Rail Station.

The objective of the study was to develop a detailed plan for a pedestrian link connecting the Carrara Precinct to the Nerang Station.  The link was intended to meet the needs of the Commonwealth Games events as well as other major events and day-to-day cycling and pedestrian activity.
