Moruya Bypass Traffic Model

Transport for NSW was undertaking preliminary investigations into a bypass of the Princes Highway through Moruya Town Centre. This project used a multi-criteria option assessment framework to evaluate different bypass options. Our role was to update the Southern Eurobodalla TRACKS model to include future land uses and to test various bypass options. The TRACKS model outputs were then used to develop a microsimulation model in Aimsun. The Aimsun outputs were used in the multi-criteria option assessment framework to evaluate the bypass options and provide the metrics for their preliminary economic evaluation.
