Blue Mountains Precinct Parking Plans

Bitzios Consulting was engaged by Blue Mountains Council to prepare local parking plans for the precincts of Echo Point, Wentworth Falls, Blackheath and Conservation Hut. The need for these plans were identified as mechanisms to price tourist parking where appropriate to manage the supply of parking resources while providing a vital revenue stream for the ongoing maintenance and upgrade of essential tourist facilities. Other objectives such as better balancing parking demand with available supply and encouraging more sustainable forms of travel were addressed in this study as well.
